Grading Buttons (Mobile App)

This guide will explain the grading buttons used on the Skritter app and will explain what each button means. It will also explain how to use Advanced SRS Grading options.

When you answer a card on Skritter, you can tap the screen to advance to the next card, keeping the automatic grading. You can also manually adjust the grade by using the grading buttons at the bottom of the card once answered. Once clicking a grading option, you will advance to the next prompt.

  • Forgot -- This marks the card as incorrect and will reset the repetitions for the character or word as if it was brand new to your scheduling
  • Got it -- This marks the card as correct and sends it farther along the spaced repetition system

Advanced SRS Grading Options

In your account settings, you can enable the "Advanced SRS Grading" option to be more granular about how you grade cards. This will give you four options as opposed to just two.

  • Forgot -- This marks the card as incorrect and will reset the repetitions for the character or word as if it was brand new to your scheduling
  • Hard -- This technically marks the card as incorrect, however, it does not reset the scheduling for the character or word as if it were brand new. It will come back soon opposed to if it was marked as "Got it"
  • Got it -- This marks the card as correct and sends it farther along the spaced repetition system
  • Easy -- This marks the card as correct and sends it much further along the spaced repetition system than the standard "Got it" grading option
