Create Accounts for Students

This guide will help you create new accounts for your classroom members and apply an activation code to their accounts.


Create New Accounts

Select Create New Accounts from the Members toolbar on the main classroom page. Type in usernames (we recommend LastFirst name formatting) and email addresses for each account you'd like to create using comma or tab separation. The classroom will display a member name, email, username, and password for students. If everything looks good, click Create Accounts.

Once accounts have been created, Skritter will create a 4-digit password that students can use to log in on the Skritter Website or Mobile applications.

We recommend using students' first and last names when creating accounts (ex. JohnSmith). If this username is unavailable, we will randomly assign numbers to the end of the name (ex. SmithJohn1, SmithJohn2).
